Mercedes von Thun

I have been working since 2013 as a mature model in a variety of areas including but not limited to fashion, catwalk, advertising and commercial work. I came to this work as I had modelled very briefly when I was younger and wanted show the world that women of my age, 50+, 60+ 70+ and beyond are just as beautiful as women in their 20s. Life doesn't stop at 40, and I'm here to reflect that it is possible to be beautiful, vivacious, healthy and active at any age! I am so inspired to be a part of the mature, grey, 60+ (or whatever you'd like to call it!) model movement; I get to work with and meet all sorts of wonderful people, from fellow models to photographers, stylists and make-up artists. Modelling is more than just posing for a picture, it's about collaboration, people and giving back to the world - the picture is the end result of this joyous process.
